Well we have gone and done it! From 2009 our changeover days will be Monday and Friday, with the main one being Friday during the end of July and August.
This will now give us more flexibility throughout the year, not only with our 3 and 4 night short breaks, but expands our horizons in being able to offer 10 and 11 night longer breaks as well.
It may sound more complicated but the system works as follows:
Short breaks: Monday to Friday midweek 4 nights or Friday to Monday weekends 3 nights
Weekly: 7 nights starting either Friday or Monday September to mid July
7 nights starting Friday during the end of July and all of August
Long breaks: Friday to Monday 10 nights - 2 weekends with a midweek in the middle
Monday to Friday 11 nights - 2 midweeks with a weekend in the middle
